Spoke to Carmen Lawrence for

Spoke to Carmen Lawrence for a few hours this morning. She’s a very intelligent, articulate and passionate women. It’s a pity there aren’t more like her. Tomorrow, it’s off to the CFMEU training rooms in the morning and the industrial commission in the arvo.

A couple of years ago I applied for this program that you’re now on. Got an interview and everything with Senator Chris Evans — seemed like a nice guy. He didn’t much like my attitudes toward Unions, which probably goes some way to explaining why I didn’t get into the program.

At the time I was disappointed. Not any longer. Having anything to do with ol’ Carmen would now leave me scarred. I wish the embarassing old bag would just disappear — her re-birth as a left-winger lacks any and all credibility. After taking on the Abe Lincoln I was expecting her to hire a light-aeroplane and show those USN flyboys who was boss…

    :-)

Mat, I’m in for even more fun tomorrow — a whole day of doorknocking with Sharryn Jackson.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH, does she remember the fucking conversation?? Does she recall you being there?

She should be in jail, not wasting tax payers money crapping on about the USN being in our ports.
