Um… let’s see if I’ve got this straight:

    * EP says the problem with freedom of speech is that it allows other people to attack other people’s right to free speech.
    * EP says that people who would censor other people should have no right to free speech.
    * Therefore, EP is in favour of censorship and should have no right to free speech himself.

    The FUCK?

Pure illogic, it’s true, but just look at the comments he raised. It’s just a pity he had to betray his real ethos with this…The Leftoids are well ahead as far as vilifying their neighbours for not voting in the same way they do. If Bush wins the next election, I think there will be a new terrorist threat from disgruntled lefties as well as the existing one from Islamist fanatics.

The fellow might have been worth persisting with if only he could contain his biases and stick to the subject.

The infamous (but in a good way) EvilPundit recently posted a very funny entry about those who argue against free speech. Taken at face value, it seems to be a retelling of Douglas Adams’ God paradox, adapted for a 21st Century full of evil censorsh…
