Slow start
As the Australian Federal Election campaign heats up, Antony Loewenstein counter-spins the news.
He hasn’t posted anything since Friday. The whole point of election blogs is to give you news and analysis faster than mainstream formats. Is it any wonder that Loewenstein can’t get a link from the front page of the SMH site?

It may have been a stuff up but when I logged onto the SMH on Sunday morning there was a headline which stated “Howard on his way to see GG”.
I clicked on it and it took me to Ant’s blog where a three line post said precisely that, HJ on his way to GG.
About half hour later it was gone.
On your call to ARMS: I’ve spent the better part of this year toying with ALP membership but when you look at the shockingly corrupt state of the NSW ALP right and at the doddering idiots of NSW Labor left, it just can’t be done.
I live in Bennelong, I’m going to push this Wilkie thing and see how much we can shake things up.
