Political pundits
Antony Loewenstein’s cheap shot at Alan Anderson’s membership of the Liberal party was pretty lame. But his prediction that “the ALP, Family First, Greens, One Nation, Socialist Alliance and Democrats will soon be writing a (Fairfax supported) election blog” sounds good to me. As an ALP staffer and officebearer, and a blogger, I’d be happy to help… for the right price.

Who suddenly decided Family First were a credible political party? And does anyone else think it’s a tad suspicious that they give their senate preferences to Labor in Victoria?
I understand they’re trying to ensure that Jacinta Collins (from the Catholic Right and in Labor’s precarious third spot) holds up against the Greens.
True but I’m guessing a ton of people are going to vote for them assuming the preferences are going to the Liberals. Which is either a bad thing or good thing depending on how you look at it - and serves people right for not researching it. Same with Liberals4Forests giving preferences to the ALP down here.
