Last ten songs

Darp was given an iPod, and posted a list of the first ten songs he played on it. Hmm, I thought. That’s cheap blog-filler. So here’s the last ten songs I listened to on mine:

  1. Dan Brodie & the Broken Arrows — Highway Loving Man
  2. Stopgap Measure — The Secret of the Crying Game
  3. Ween — Falling Out
  4. Pearl Jam — Bugs
  5. Secret Chiefs 3 — Renunciation
  6. Jet — Are You Gonna Be My Girl? (actually, I skipped it after three shakes of the tambourine… I swear!)
  7. The Go-Betweens — Right Here
  8. Ween — Transdermal Celebration
  9. Bikini Kill — Don’t Need You
  10. Ben Folds Five — Steven’s Last Night in Town

There it is… wart and all.

Ween, Bikini Kill, Go Betweens. Seems like pretty good listening to me.

Did you do the traditional thing of copying every single CD you had to it and ending up with complete shit randomly appearing? Happens to me all the time courtesy of some rubbish 80’s compilation albums.

And the views of this Adam do not necessarily represent the rest of us. The main thing wrong with them is that they’re shit. This particular song is shamefully lifted from Lust For Life and/or A Town Called Malice.

Adam 1.0: I’ve tried to be reasonably selective with what I’ve added so far, but Jet appears courtesy of Carita’s younger sister, and I haven’t gone through to weed out the shit that slipped through the net. “The main thing wrong with them is that they’re shit.” I concur.

Top marks for the general obscurity of the selection, too. Very respectable.

    Merry Christmas :-)
