I was once given the good juice on No-Doz by a truckie with red nostrils and the shivers. "It's for pussies, son." He couldn't get money out of his wallet without holding it against his chest to stop the shakes. Here endeth the lesson. The unit is called "Bioethics and the Law", and deals with issues like the risks doctors face when using pain killers that might "hasten the death" of a terminal patient, the law of tissue donation and whether there should be property in one's body, genetic discrimination in employment and insurance, that sort of thing. Definitely more interesting than Commercial Practice or Civil Procedure! Alas, the arts component was finished a year and a half ago.
